Item Specifications and Additional Information: Transceiver Modules The TFDU4202 is a miniature transceiver. The low profile design make this an excellent choice for use in telecommunications equipment. This device adaptable to the most current IrDA® IrPHY specs up to 115kbit/s data rate. To attain a range greater than 1m the transceiver can be operated without an external current limiting device with voltages up to 3.3V. An additional feature with this transceiver is the split power supply. The transmitter and receiver can be operated from 2 power supplies. Features: - CIR Remote Control operation:Typical transmission range 8 m using standard RC-receivers. Receives RC-commands with typical specified sensitivity. - Lowest power consumption 65 μA, receive mode, 0.01 μA Shutdown - Built-in current limitation - Output intensity adjustable by external resistor Transceiver Electrical Specs: (VCC = 2.4V to 5.5V, - 25°C to + 85°C, unless otherwise stated). Supported data rates (base band): 9.6kbit/s min. ; 115.2kbit/s max. Supply voltage range (operational down to 2.0 V): 2.4V min. ; 5.5V max. Supply current: 65µA typ. ; 100µA max (VCC=2.4V to 5.5V, Ee=0,receive mode, full temp. range) Supply current at Vccp: 0.02µA typ. ; 1.0µA max.
