The Sockit-box is a weatherproof indoor/outdoor electrical connection box that keeps your temporary connections safe and dry.
It is simple to open and close and easy to use in any home or business setting. It can help prevent trips and faults. The Sockit-box
is suitable for extension cords and extension leads, as well as 4 way sockets and transformers. The smaller box (model 285) is perfect
for 4 line extension cords and power strips. The larger box (model 330) can be used to house larger extension reels as well as the
traditional 4 gang extension cords and transformers. Constructed of black heavy duty plastic, the Sockit-box has been granted a waterproof
rating (level IP55) since the Sockitbox has a watertight seal. The IP55 rating provides for protection against dust (limited ingress) and
protection against low pressure water jets from any direction. Perfect for families with pets and small children.
The Sockitbox incorporates a very simple hinged clamp mechanism design which can be accessed in less than a second. There are no
screws to release or tighten - the hinged mechanism permits access and closure immediately without the need to release or tighten screws.
The lid of the Sockit-box features an innovative waterproof interface which molds around the electrical cables.

Instructions Before Use:
Make sure your box is complete with two handles (one on either side of the box), main box, and cover>
You may remove the packaging attached to the lid before use.
Installation Advice:
Before clamping the lid closed make sure the box is totally dry inside to prevent moisture being trapped inside.
To increase the sealing effect of this box, use the 11 retaining lugs on the lid by clipping them under the lip of the main box.
Make sure the box is left in a position where the lid is facing upwards and the box cannot tip over.
General Precautions:
When connecting multiple appliances to a multi plug within the box, make sure the total power drawn does not exceed the recommended maximum of that product (seek expert advice if you are in doubt)
This box is designed for temporary electrical connections only; extreme weather could affect the life of the product.
Transformers are warm when in use, sealing too many within this box can increase their operating temperature.
Do not overfill the box, i.e. placing strain on the clamp mechanism; this could break the watertight seal created with the gasket.
Do not place more than one cable in each port to avoid breaking the seal.
Do not turn opposite side down.
