Optocoupler Transistors

The CNY65 is a phototransistor optically coupled to a gallium arsenide infrared emitting diode. The single components are situated across from each other. This ensures a distance of > 3 mm between input and output providing for the highest safety requirements.

Forward voltage (IF = 50 mA): 1.25V typ.
Junction capacitance (VR = 0, f = 1 MHz): 50pF typ.
OUTPUT
Collector emitter voltage (IC = 1 mA): 32.0V min.
Emitter collector voltage (IE = 100 uA): 7.0V min.
Collector-emitter leakage current (VCE = 20 V, If = 0): 200nA max.
COUPLER:
Collector emitter saturation (IF = 10 mA, IC = 1 mA): 0.3V max.
Cut-off frequency (VCE = 5 V, IF = 10 mA,RL = 100 Ω): 110kHz typ.
Coupling capacitance (f = 1 MHz): 0.3pF typ.
