The VND5004ATR-E is a double 4mΩ high side driver with analog current sense for automotive applications.
With one side of the VND5004ATR-E connected to ground this device is designed to drive resistive or inductive loads. Protection from transients on the VCC pin come from the active VCC pin voltage clamp. If the CD_DIS is driven low or left open the VND5004ATR-E uses an analog current sense to send a current comparable to the load current. The current sense pin is in a high impedance position when the CS-DIS is driven in high. In overload condition the piece is protected with output current limitation.
