Nylon Insulated Solderless Crimp Terminals
Solderless terminals, also called lugs, are most often used to complete the connection for electronic and electrical projects. They come in many different styles and sizes for your various installations. Nylon insulated terminals are referred to as double-crimp terminals because they are crimped once on the bare wire and again on the insulation of the wire. For this reason alone, they are a better grade of terminal connector since the double crimp makes the connection more secure. You can generally tell a nylon insulation crimp terminal by the more translucent appearance on the insulation sleeve.
