The PMD 17K series of Darlington transistors are monolithic epitaxial base structures that have built in base to emitter shunt resistors. Increased reliability and reduced high temperature reverse leakage are ensured with the CVD glass passivated design. The hermetically sealed TO-3 package adds to the high reliability as well as providing low thermal resistance.
