The MC33975 is a Multiple Switch Detection Interface with Suppressed Wake-up. The device monitors the opening and closing of up to 22 switches. This is accomplished when the switch status is sent through a serial peripheral interface to the microprocessor. The MC33975 can read inputs as analog with it's 22-to-1 analog multiplexer.
