Carbon Comp Resistors

Carbon comp resistors are also known as carbon composite resistors. They differ from film resistors because of how they're made. These 2 watt resistors consist of a small tube with the carbon composite material inside. This construction produces a small amount of material in the signal. Carbon comp resistors also differ from film resistors in that there is always inductance. Carbon composite resistors are popular with audio and guitar enthusiasts due to their very clean and natural sound properties.
