Leveling or adjusting glides are used to keep items from wobbling on uneven surfaces. The glide threads into a threaded hole and is adjusted up or down to select the proper height to ensure the item is level. Appliances and items with corners will usually have a leveling leg or foot on each corner in order to balance the item properly.
