Programmable Transient Voltage Suppressors

The LCP1521SRL protects SLICs against transient overvoltages. It is ideal for the classic SLICs as well as the new high voltage ones. Two diodes clamp positive overvoltages and two thyristors suppress negative surges. Their breakdown voltage is referenced to -VBAT through the gate. During the firing phase, the low gate triggering current reduces the current consumption on the PCB.
