The LM136-2.5 is a precision shunt regulator diode. This voltage reference IC works as a 2.5V low temperature coefficient zener with 0.2 ohm dynamic impedance. The reference voltage and temperature coefficient can be easily trimmed due to the third pin. The LM136 can be used as a positive or negative voltage reference since it operates as a shunt regulator.
