Fans & Fan Power Cords

Fans come in multiple sizes depending on where they are used. From the hand-held battery operated miniature fans to the huge fans of several horsepower capacities keeping steam generators cool, the variety is endless. An average person is more concerned with the fan used in the house or office to cool the surroundings from heat. Essentially, a fan is a set of blades mounted on the shaft of an electric motor. Power to the motor is delivered via a power cord.

Power cords are provided along with the fans, with one end already firmly connected to the electrical terminals of the fan and the other to a three- or two-pin plug. That makes the use of the fan versatile, because it can put to use at any place that has a power output point.
