10mm LEDs


Here are some tips for working with through-hole 10mm jumbo LEDS and lamps:
  • - Prep the leads before soldering. If you need to form or bend the leads, bend or form them BEFORE soldering
  • - When bending the leads of the 10mm LEDS, try to avoid bending them at the same location more than once
  • - When you are placing them on the PCB, the lead pitch of the 10mm LEDs should match the pitch of the mounting holes
  • - Handle the 10mm LEDs carefully during the solder process. Allow more than 2mm from the solder joint
  • - It is recommended that you solder past the tie bar. Avoid placing undue stress on the lead frame while soldering
